Who we help

One of these is probably you.

Same service and same price whichever one it is, including the ones people are embarrassed to say out loud. If your tax goes on a personal Self Assessment return, we do it.

Freelancers & sole traders

“I invoice people. That is roughly where my admin ends.”

You invoice people, and that is roughly where your admin ends. We prepare your sole trader accounts from bank statements and invoices, decide what you can claim, and file the return. Over £50,000 gross you are already in Making Tax Digital; over £30,000 joins in April 2027 and over £20,000 in April 2028.

Landlords

“One flat. I did not think that made me a tax person.”

One flat, one room or a whole portfolio. Rental income goes on the property pages of your personal return, and it counts towards the Making Tax Digital threshold alongside any self-employment. Mortgage interest relief, the Rent a Room scheme and landlords living abroad are all handled.

“The side thing got big enough to start worrying about.”

The side thing got big enough to worry about. Content income, platform sales, a second business next to a job. Over £1,000 gross the trading allowance no longer covers it and you need a return. Your salary sits on the same return, so we handle both together.

First-time filers

“I have never filed anything, and the deadline is real.”

You have never filed anything and the deadline is real. We tell you exactly how to register for Self Assessment and what to do when your UTR arrives, we tell you what to send in plain English, and we chase you, not the other way round.

Ministers & clergy

“Manse, stipend, HLC — nobody I ask knows the answer.”

Manse, stipend, heating, lighting and cleaning, fees and expenses, the SA102M pages. Most accountants rarely see one. Ministers filing on the SA102M pages are exempt from Making Tax Digital, so it is just the one return each year.

Catch-up & late filers

“I think I have already missed one. I stopped opening the post.”

You think you have already missed one and you stopped opening the post. We file returns going back several years, at £150 for each earlier year, and the penalties stop growing once the return is in. The sooner it is filed, the less it costs.

And everyone else with a personal return

If it goes on a Self Assessment return, it is in scope. A teacher who tutors, a nurse doing agency shifts, a plumber with a flat to let: more than one of these on the same return is normal.

Who we’re not for.

Company accounts, Corporation Tax, VAT returns, payroll and investment advice are not things we do. We file your personal return, including the salary and dividends you take from your own company, but not the company’s own accounts.

Whoever you are

The process is the same.

We ask you a few plain questions. You reply however suits you — WhatsApp, email or our portal — and send a photo of anything we need. We check the answers, prepare the return, Rob reads it, and we submit it to HMRC as your agent. We chase you; you never have to chase us.
