Send it. We sort it.
Take a photo. Forward an email. Send us a message. However your paperwork reaches you, just send it to us.
No tax knowledge. No software to learn. If we’re not sure about something, we ask.
Three steps. You only do the first.
Everything else on this page is reassurance and detail.
Send it
Photo it, WhatsApp it, email it or upload it. Don’t worry about organising it first.
We sort it
We record it, categorise it, keep your records up to date, and ask only when something genuinely needs your input.
We check & file it
Rob checks the figures, you see what you’re paying, and nothing goes to HMRC until you’re happy.
However you send it, it ends up in the same place.
Use one route. Use all three. Switch whenever you like. You don’t have to organise anything for us first — that’s our job.
Everything lands in your client record.
- We identify what it is
- We record and categorise it
- We keep your tax records up to date
- We flag anything we genuinely need to ask
Take a photo. Send it. Carry on.
You don’t need to take the receipt home, remember what it was for, and deal with it later. Send it while it’s in your hand.

The times are how long your part takes, not a promise about ours.
Just send it.
Receipt?Just send it.
Invoice in your inbox?Just forward it.
Bank statement?Send it.
Not sure whether it matters?Send it anyway.
The longer you’re with us, the fewer questions we need to ask.
We use what you’ve told us before to help understand what you send next. Familiar things become quicker. Unusual things still get checked.
If the context changes or something doesn’t look right, we ask rather than guessing.
You shouldn’t have to explain the same thing over and over again.
We ask one simple question.
We never expect you to know the tax treatment. We just ask for the bit of real-life context that only you can give us.
That’s about as complicated as it gets. Illustration of a typical exchange — not a real client.
Smart system. Real accountant.
Over the years we’ve refined our systems so getting your information to us is as quick and easy as possible. The system handles the admin, and Rob still reads every return before it’s filed.
What we might ask you for
Only what applies to you. Photos are fine, and we will say which ones matter.
Lost half your receipts? Normal. Bank statements cover most of it, and we know what a reasonable claim looks like.
Not sure if we need it?
Send it anyway. We’d rather see something we don’t need than have you worry about whether you should have sent it.
The same, four more times a year.
Making Tax Digital turns one return a year into five submissions. On the £25 monthly plan, the quarterly updates work exactly like the return: we ask, you reply, we file.
- 1We message you a few weeks before each quarterly deadline
- 2You send a photo, a figure, or a bank export
- 3We prepare, check and submit the update
- 4You get a confirmation. That quarter is done.
It depends on your gross income.
Self-employment and property income added together, before expenses.
The questions people ask first
How long does it take?+
Usually days rather than weeks once we have your figures. The slow part, if there is one, is usually waiting for a document from a bank or a letting agent.
What is the identity check?+
A quick, secure check of who you are when you sign up. Every accountant is required to do it by anti-money-laundering rules. Painless in practice.
How do I actually send you things?+
WhatsApp, email or our portal — whichever you already use, and you can switch between them. A photo of a document is fine; you never have to scan anything or fill in a form. If we need something else, we ask.
Can I see the return before it’s sent?+
Always. You get the figures and the tax due, and nothing goes to HMRC until you’re happy with them.
Do I pay the tax to you?+
No. You pay HMRC directly. We tell you the figure, the deadline and how to pay it, including payments on account if they apply.
I’ve already missed a deadline.+
Tell us. Late and catch-up years are a big part of what we do, and the penalties stop growing once the return is in.
I already have an accountant.+
Switching is free and we do the paperwork, including the letter to them. You don’t need to have an awkward conversation.
Is it safe to send things that way?+
Our portal is the most private route — your documents go straight into your client file. WhatsApp and email are there because they are easy; WhatsApp is not end-to-end encrypted between you and us, because Meta handles the messages on their way to us. Use whichever you are comfortable with. Our privacy notice has the detail.

“Amazing accountant. Helped with all questions and queries I had, and explained in detail what every part of my return meant. 10/10 would use again.”

“Rob is a brilliant accountant. He is very knowledgeable about the new MTD system for the self employed, and offers guidance and advice on MTD software, and how to use it. Rob is always very quick to respond to queries, and goes above and beyond to offer help and advice. Very highly recommended.”

“What an amazing service!! I love the ease of being able to upload all my documents including my business bank statements. They were super fast getting back to me with my questions and I will definitely use them again next year. Top job!”
