Over a decade of simplifying tax
Rob founded his own accountancy practice back in 2015 with one goal: straightforward, reliable, modern accounting — no jargon, no unnecessary stress. Ten-plus years on, he's still driven by the same thing: taking the numbers off your plate so you can get on with what you actually do.
He gets your world
Before accountancy, Rob worked across insurance, IT, music distribution, hospitality and live events, and he holds a BSc in Music and Acoustics from the University of Salford. That mix means he understands business from the inside, not just from behind a spreadsheet. Since starting his firm he's worked with online creators, freelancers, landlords, tradespeople and small companies — the exact people Filed Tax is built for.
Plain English, and a real person
Rob's a people person first. He likes getting to know the person behind the numbers and explaining things in a way that genuinely makes sense — which is exactly why we asked him to be the human check on every Filed Tax return.
